All of our puppies are born in our house and raised in our house to get them used to a home's general sights, sounds and chaos plus of course, lots of hugs and kisses. We have teenagers (with lots of friends) so the puppies are handled often from the time they are born.  We also encourage friends with small children to visit often so the puppies start to be socialized to all sizes of humans!  We have found our dogs to be wonderful house dogs that when taken out for a hunt turn into extreme hunting machines!  We introduce each puppy to a crate sometime around five or six  weeks; each litter is a bit different!  We feel that giving each puppy a “safe” place makes it easier for them to transition to their new home!  Also we start taking the puppies outside for “potty training” about this same time.  While your puppy won’t be housebroken, they will have been introduced to this concept, hopefully making the training easier for you!  We do encourage all new owners to enroll in a puppy class and as always we are only a phone call away to help answer questions about your new pup.
